Monster Toyota's Greaves Debuts New Pro 4x4 and New Teammate Jeremy McGrath at PDG Test in Perris, CA

Perris, CA (April 20, 2009)-The long-awaited appearance of Jeremy McGrath under the Monster awning delivered rave reviews from spectators and crewmembers alike as both Greaves and McGrath made impressive testing runs around the Perris Auto Speedway track. Team owner and off-road racing legend Johnny Greaves was hard at work testing his new BFGoodrich tires and several changes to his Pro 4x4 that the team at TRD worked hard on all week. While the weather was dreadfully hot, the teams really got all the testing they needed and the track was in excellent condition.

"I am really looking forward to our first Traxxas TORC Series event in Texas next month for both Jeremy and I," Greaves stated while sporting his new Oakley pit attire. "Not only has TRD stepped up the effort this month getting my Pro 4x4 ready, but Jeremy's Pro 2WD is awesome out here. I am excited at how Jeremy is driving in practice and I know we have a shot to win at every event."

As for the first PDG practice weekend, Greaves was pretty excited about it all. "This is definitely the biggest turn-out for a practice I have been a part of and having media and fans here was a lot of fun. This is the first time I have signed this many autographs at a practice-it seemed a lot like a race event," Greaves continued. "TORC and the PDG have really worked hard for the past few months and I am so glad it is coming together for all of us."

McGrath was equally excited about the team stating: "This is a dream-job for me working with Johnny and Curt Greaves. I have put a lot of seat-time in over the last few years and now its time to get down to business. Perris is a fun track and I can't wait to get back here for the race event here in May."

Monster Energy, Toyota Send Johnny Greaves and Jeremy McGrath to 'Take Care of Business' in Traxxas TORC Series

April 3, 2009 (Abrams, WI)-Greaves Motorsports announced today that Supercross Champion and legend, Jeremy McGrath, will be racing the Toyota powered Pro 2 TRUCK for the star-studded Monster Energy Toyota Off-Road Team owned by Greaves Motorsports. The team will debut at The Traxxas TORC Series that kicks off May 15th and 16th at Texas Motor Speedway near Dallas under the lights. "This is really exciting for me to join with a champion like Johnny and one of the most successful teams in short-course history," said McGrath. "Johnny has been one of the guys I looked up to in short-course since I started and to be a part of such a successful team really gets me fired-up. I tested the BFGoodrich Toyota Greaves-built machine a few weeks ago and I knew right away that I would have a great chance to win a title. It was really fast and the Fox Shox were really working. I'm glad we were able to work it out with Monster, Toyota and the rest of the team and I am stoked to be here and looking forward to the TRD team backing us up at the track. This team expects championships and that is what I'm all about too," McGrath continued.

"If you really want to know, I was looking forward to kicking everyone's butt in that new Pro 2 this year," Greaves said with a smile. "But when the opportunity came around to bring Jeremy on-board and I saw how passionate he was about winning, I knew it would be great for the fans, sponsors and my team. We worked really hard in the off-season to get this truck in top form and I feel really good about Jeremy taking the wheel. I have a lot of confidence in Jeremy because he has proved he has the potential to win every week."

Greaves and McGrath are scheduled to test at Perris Raceway during the upcoming PDG and TORC Series testing day on April 19th and 20th. Fans are invited to come out and have some fun while hanging out with the teams. Johnny and Jeremy will be making final adjustments, while sponsors Monster Energy, Toyota/TRD, BFGoodrich, Fox Shox and many others will be there to support this new star-studded team.
